In the Help menu, click About UnInstaller to find your version number.

#1 Update Uninstaller 5.x to version 5.10
For 5.0 and 5.02 users on all Microsoft Windows platforms, this patch addresses several minor issues in both Windows 95 and Windows 98. In Windows 98, this patch integrates PowerClean into Windows 98's Disk Cleanup Wizard.

#2 Update Uninstaller 5.10 to version 5.1x (You must download update #1 first)
For all 5.10 users on all Windows platforms, this patch fixes minor bugs. In Windows NT, this patch updates UnInstaller's exception databases to provide improved NT support. (5.0 and 5.02 users must update to 5.10 before downloading this patch.)

 

UnInstaller 4 Users

#1 Update Uninstaller 4.5 to version 4.51
For all 4.5 users, this patch fixes minor bugs.

#2 Update Uninstaller 4.51 to version 4.5x (You must download update #1 first)
For all 4.51 users, this patch adds Windows 98 files to UnInstaller's list of protected files and fixes minor bugs. (4.5 users must update to 4.51 before downloading this patch.)

CyberMedia provides updates and information published previously by MicroHelp and Luckman. CyberMedia has taken steps to insure that these updates operate correctly. However at this time CyberMedia cannot provide phone support for MicroHelp and Luckman versions of UnInstaller and their updates.

 

Update UnInstaller 5.x to version 5.10
This updates UnInstaller to version 5.10. This patch addresses several minor issues, and integrates PowerClean into Microsoft Windows 98's Disk Cleanup Wizard (don't worry if you have Windows 95 - this update also works with it). After installing the update, note that you will have to restart your computer for these changes to take effect. We recommend you download the update to keep your version of UnInstaller up-to-date.

The UnInstaller 5.10 update can be accessed either through the Oil Change technology or, while you are here - just follow the instructions below

1. Download the update by clicking the button below.



2. Save the file to your hard disk. Note the location to which the update (U51EngUp.exe) is being saved.

3. Please follow these easy steps for a conflict-free installation of not only UnInstaller, but any other program running in the Windows environment:

4. Disable everything running in the background by pressing the CTRL+ALT keys on your keyboard and pressing the DEL key once.

5. This will bring up the Close Program box.

6. Select a program and click End Task.

7. Repeat this procedure for every item in the Close Program box except explorer.

8. Click Cancel.

9. Now you can run the setup program.

10. In Windows Explorer, double-click the U51EngUp.exe file.

11. Follow the instructions on your screen.
