Undo an Automatically Installed Update


  1. On the main Oil Change window, if required, click More to display additional features.
  2. Click Undo and select the update in the Updates list that you want to undo.
  3. Click Undo.
    A message appears saying that Undo was successful.
  4. A message may appear asking if you want to reboot your computer. Click Yes or No.

Tip

There are several important things you should know about Undo:

You should test each update immediately after Oil Change installs it. If the update does not perform as expected, use Undo before you install any other software or download any other updates.
You can use Undo to reverse one or more of the last automatically installed updates.
You cannot use Undo to reverse an update that you have installed manually.
You can use Delete to remove the update and Undo information from your computer’s disk drive if you don’t want to Undo an update.
