Install an Update Automatically

  1. Select an update in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box.
You can find out if Oil Change can install the update automatically by reading the information below the dialog box.
  2. After determining that the update can be installed automatically, click Install.
After successfully downloading an update, Oil Change displays an Install dialog box. If you want to be able to use the Undo feature, make sure that the Create Undo File check box is selected.
  3. Click Auto Install.
If Auto Install is unavailable, the update does not include an installation procedure that Oil Change can use, and you need to install the update manually.
  4. If Create Undo file is selected, the Oil Change - AutoInstall dialog box appears.
Information about the progress of the installation appears here.
  5. When installation completes, click Finish.
You may be required to restart your computer. If so, a dialog box appears.
  6. Click Yes or No.

Tip

Test the update before installing another update for the same product. Oil Change can undo the last update per product that it installs automatically.
