Connect Through a Proxy Server

1. On the main Oil Change window, if required, click More to display additional features.
2. Click Options.
3. Select the Connection tab.
4. Click Modify.
5. On the Modify Connection Settings dialog box, select Connect through a proxy server and click Settings.
6. On the Proxy Settings dialog box, type the address and port number of the proxy server in the appropriate box.
7. If the network supports only one proxy server, click Use the same proxy server for all protocols to select that server.
8. Type specific addresses, such as an address for a computer on your Intranet, that aren’t routed through the proxy server in the Exceptions box.
9. Select Do not use the proxy server for local addresses to bypass the proxy server.
10. Click OK. A message appears telling you that you must restart your computer for the new settings to take effect.
11. Click OK.
