Get Now: Get Now lets you select one or more updates for immediate retrieval. The updates are stored in your download folder. When you are ready to install an update, select the update in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box and click Install. An Oil Change icon is also added to the update entry in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box to indicate that the update is ready for installation.

Get Later: Get Later lets you select one or more updates and set up a download schedule. After Oil Change retrieves the updates, you can use Install whenever you want to proceed with installation. In the product list in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box, an Oil Change icon with a clock is added to each update that is scheduled for retrieval.

After using Get, each time you run Oil Change, it will remind you that the updates that you retrieved are ready to be installed.
