To activate your Oil Change membership, you must register with CyberMedia. Typically, you will register when you install Oil Change; however, if you do not, the Registration Wizard will appear the first time you try to start Oil Change. When you register, you are giving Oil Change important information about who you are. On the Registration Wizard dialog box, you must fill in:

Member name: You don’t have to use your real name. In fact, you are encouraged to make up an original name because each member name must be unique. After you have chosen your name, you can reuse it if you have to reinstall Oil Change. |

Email address: Your email address is important because CyberMedia uses it to send information to you, such as answers to technical support questions or product information when it becomes available. |

Password: Choose a password to use to access Oil Change. Also, if you are reinstalling Oil Change, for example, you may have upgraded your subscription, and you forget your password, you can retrieve a copy of using the Registration Wizard. Find Password Oil Change sends a message containing a copy of your password to the email address that you entered. |
| Make a note of your member name and password. You must enter these each time you run Oil Change. However, to avoid all that typing and the possibility of making a mistake, you can enter your member name and password correctly on the main Oil Change window, and select Remember my password. The Remember my password check box is selected by default. |

Your membership profile information is stored on a secure CyberMedia Internet server. If you forget your password go the CyberMedia Web site to retrieve a copy of it.
