You may have installed Oil Change and decided to use it immediately, or decided to use it another time. In either case, you must register with CyberMedia before using Oil Change to download updates for your computer hardware and software. During the registration process, you will be asked to choose a member name and password. It is important to make a note of them.
Each time you use Oil Change, you must enter your member name and password on the main Oil Change window before Oil Change starts scanning your hard drive and locating updates. After entering the information correctly, you can select Remember my password if you want Oil Change to use that member name and password each time you log on to the CyberMedia ActiveHelp server. This check box is selected by default.
Tip
If you reinstall Oil Change for any reason, for instance, you upgrade you subscription, you can use the same member name and password in the Registration Wizard.
