
You can view a list of the products (applications and drivers) on your computer that Oil Change recognizes and the updates that are available for these products in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box. When you place your cursor on an update in the list, a status message appears in a pop-up window.
You can choose to download an update immediately or set a time for Oil Change to download it. If the update is located on a busy Web site, Oil Change may not be able to connect the first time. You can specify the number of times Oil Change tries to connect to the site, Oil Change adds an icon beside the product name to indicate its status.

The Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box offers the following features which allow you to control how Oil Change works:
| Install: Use Install to retrieve an update from the manufacturers Web site and install it on your computer immediately. | |
| Get: Use Get to determine when Oil Change downloads a selected update. | |
| Hide: Use Hide to control selectively which products and updates appear in the list in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box. | |

| Membership/Subscribe: If you are using a full-subscription to Oil Change the Membership button appears on the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box. Click this button to see when your Oil Change subscription expires. If you are using another type of subscription, the Subscribe button appears in this location on the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box. If you want to upgrade to a full one-year subscription to the Oil Change service, click this button. |
From time-to-time CyberMedia adds complimentary updates to the list that appears in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box, for example: updates to games, or shareware or freeware products. If you want to see these products and updates in the list, select:
Show shareware and freeware
After Oil Change completes a scan, it lists all the products that it recognizes in the Supported Applications and Drivers dialog box. Of course there may or may not be updates for all the products. To modify the list so that only those products with updates will be displayed, select:
Hide products with no updates
