Venture Funding Results In $5 Million Total Investment from Kleiner, Perkins and Existing Inside Investors
SANTA MONICA, CA, (July 23, 1996) - CyberMedia®, maker of the best-selling
Microsoft Windows® software product, First Aid 95, today announced the completion
of a $5 million private equity offering led by Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers and
including other existing investors. The investment will give the company additional
resources to fuel their rapid growth.

copies sold. First Aid 95 is the first software product designed to automatically fix
Microsoft Windows ® 3.1 and Windows 95 software configuration problems to protect
against general protection faults, software conflicts and optimize PC performance.
