CyberMedia Teams Up With Radio Stations Across the USA to Bring Savings and Prizes to America

Join Some of Your Favorite Local Disk Jockeys for In-Store Appearances at CompUSAs to Receive Savings and FREE Gifts

Santa Monica, CA – June 3, 1998 – CyberMedia, Inc. (NASDAQ:CYBR) unveiled the company’s plan to "get computers in shape for the summer" today by announcing it will take to the streets of America during the month of June to conduct live in-store appearances at selected CompUSAs with local radio personalities giving out gift certificates and gifts to CyberMedia’s customers.

At each store event, according to Tim Petras, CyberMedia’s senior product marketing manager, the first 25 purchasers of First AidÒ 98 Deluxe or Guard DogÔ Deluxe will receive a $10.00 CompUSA gift certificate towards any purchase of their choice. All other customers there that day will receive a FREE GIFT with any purchase of CyberMedia products.

Look for CyberMedia representatives in order to receive your gift certificate or gifts. Additionally, each of the radio stations listed below will also be giving out prizes to listeners. Customers can participate in the event at the following CompUSA locations:

June 5

San Diego, CA: Join stations KSDO and KOGO from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, 5630 Kearny Mesa Road
