CYBERMEDIA INC. ISSUES AMENDED 10Q

No Changes In Operating Results

Santa Monica, Calif.¾ December 5, 1997¾ CyberMedia Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS:CYBR - news), the leader in automatic service and support issued an amended 10Q filing yesterday.

The filing included no changes in the company's operating results. The principal revisions involved enhanced discussion of the use of proceeds from the company's initial public offering as required by the new SEC rules, additional discussion of the company's accounts receivable financing which stood at $4.8 million at September 30, 1997 and updated treatment of the deferred tax asset reflected on the company's balance sheet.
