When was CyberMedia founded?

CyberMedia was founded in 1991. The first version of First Aid shipped in 1994.

Unni Warrier, Anne Lam, Srikanth Chari, Jonathan Tran, Chi-Ching Chang and Art Puryear. Initial funding came from Dr. Suhas Patil, founder of Cirrus Logic.

Corporate headquarters are in Santa Monica, Calif. with branch offices in San Jose, Calif.; Tigard, Ore.; Washington, D.C.; Tokyo; Dublin; and Pune, India.

CyberMedia employs more than 280 full-time staff worldwide.

Oct. 1996. Hambrecht & Quist LLC underwrote the offering.
